FDR Boys Games
FDR v Lincoln
FDR’s third SAAC game was held on Friday November 13 against the Argentinean American school of Lincoln. Both teams, FDR and Lincoln approached the match with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. During the first quarter of the game, both teams had an equal possession of the ball, but during the second quarter, FDR started to attack the opponent’s area more frequently and this caused two clear shots towards the goal which the goalie amazingly saved. The first half ended 0-0 and both teams’ coaches had a lot to talk about with their players. The second half started and FDR started to reach Lincoln’s area through their wing players. Lincoln defended very hard in order to hinder the FDR from scoring a goal. Lincoln also had some clear chances of scoring through the use of counter-attack, but FDR’s goalie was always there to not let them score. The match ended 0-0 and FDR was regretting not having scored.
FDR v UAS
FDR played against the American School of Uruguay (UAS) on Friday November 13th. It was FDR’s last game of the day and they wanted finish off the day with a victory. During half time both teams were trying to score but they couldn’t. In the second half the scoreboard indicated a score of 0-0 but it was broken through an excellent goal scored by FDR, which left the Uruguayans with a long way to go. UAS tried to tie the game, but FDR scored a second goal during the last minutes of the game. Even though UAS tried to at least tie the game, they couldn’t because FDR performed excellently as a team.
