Inglorious Basterds
“Inglorious Basterds” is a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino. Like most of his movies, it is full of obscene violence and people delivering badass lines which will probably be remembered forever. Besides all these factors that are usually typical of a B-movie, this might be the best movie to come out this year.
Even though now and then you might feel yourself lost between the casual conversations between the characters, it is this attention to details that gives the immersion to the movie. The movie might not be historically accurate, but every character is so genuinely detailed that you will leave thinking that all this could have really taken place in Nazi-occupied France.
If you can look past the occasionally grotesque violence scenes in this movie (and even if you don’t) it might just be the best movie you will watch this year; it is a once in a lifetime event, you just don’t see movies like this one anymore.
