Antichrist

This highly controversial movie, starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg, is about the hardships an apparently married couple have to endoure after the death of their only son, by what seems to be there negligence. In order to clear there minds and move on, they go to their cabin in the woods, where the story starts to unfold. The characters true colors are seen and the truth behind the death of their child is revealed. Through an intricate plot and deep understanding of the human minds and how it acts, Lars Von Trier, the director, creates a very subjective film. Some label it as a horror film, but it seems to border the genre of drama in most parts. If you are capable of tolerating extreme violence and gore, as well as vast nudity, this is a film I would recommend. For mature people only.
